Refugees

Millions of Arab refugees remain within the region. Most of them struggle to meet their daily needs. They also face many other difficulties, including with education, medical care, their legal status, and even being disrespected by citizens of the host country.

We serve refugees regardless of their religious affiliations

This is done primarily through material assistance and medical outreaches, in addition to sewing training for women. However, this ministry also gives us opportunities to share God’s word with the those we serve.

“I’m happy that you came to visit me; I haven’t received any visits from church since I came to [this country].”

“I didn’t like other soccer academies because I found that they don’t necessarily play with ethics. But here they have sportsmanship, they don’t get mad at each other. I learn from them. I see them open the Bible, read it, memorize it. I didn’t read the Bible before. But when I came here, they encouraged me to read and memorize. Now I read the Bible on my own at home.”

“I get to hear God’s word here. I don’t hear it much at church, school or anywhere else.”

“I learned that understanding and applying God’s word leads to a life of integrity, faithfulness and deviating from evil. I also learned how to study the Bible. I discovered that I had been over-interpreting Biblical texts, but I learned through this study to let the Bible teach me.”
