Women

AWEMA’s Ministry School for Women

This two-year training program provides teaching on theological, Biblical, psychological and ministry topics for young women who are involved in ministry in their local churches. The School started in 2020 with a vision to see these women become spiritually and emotionally mature and thus be able to better serve and edify others in their local churches. Students get to walk a personal journey of healing and maturation in a safe community and with the help of the School leaders.

In their own words…

“I learned that my life has a purpose and the price paid for me is precious; my life is worth more than education and marriage.”

“I have been learning so much at the school. Members of the discipleship group I lead say that they are learning new things from me. I am grateful for everyone who makes an effort to deliver this teaching to us.”

“I grew up in a family who considers boys better than girls. Boys are free to do whatever they want. They have authority over their sisters. This caused me to have negative feelings towards and rejection of my family. But I learned to forgive and accept them, and to look at myself differently, because God sees no difference between male and female.”

“God chose Moses and promised to be with Him. I learned that God works through me. He gives me the power. He speaks through me. And He gives me the opportunity where He can use me.”

“I was a shattered person. But after I began to attend the prison chapel, God’s word touched me and I decided to follow the Lord.”
